Whilst drawing my humble backyard pumpkin patch, I saw in the leaves the graceful, architectural lines of Art Nouveau. Capturing this tiny patch of garden resulted in a very complex drawing which printed as a Mokulito ultimately surrendered to the woodcut print. The board itself, holding the history of the process, remains my favorite outcome of the series.
